BMA2026: The 9th International Meeting on Bone Marrow Adiposity

BMA2026 Registration is Now Open

BMA2026 will be a hybrid meeting, with in-person and virtual registration options. Selected sessions will be recorded and made available to all registered attendees after the event.

Members of BMAS (The International Bone Marrow Adiposity Society) benefit from discounted registration fees. If you are not yet a BMAS member, your registration includes 1-year or 3-year membership; further details are explained below under Registration Categories.

Registration categories

In-person and virtual registration falls into six different categories (a-f) depending on career stage and BMAS membership status:

  • Early-Career Researcher (ECR) registration is for any attendee who is less than 3 years post-PhD/MD (or who is a current student)

  • Non-ECR registration is for any attendee who is more than 3 years post-PhD/MD

The prices above are for Early Bird Registration, which is open until 30th June 2026. Prices for Standard and Late Registration are shown below.

Career stage depends on the time since obaining your PhD or MD:

  1. Current BMAS member.

  2. BMAS non-member (registration to include 1-year membership)

  3. BMAS non-member (registration to include 3-year membership)

BMAS membership status falls into three categories:

Travel grants and abstract prizes will be awarded to top-scoring abstracts:

  • Five travel grants (€500 each) – two sponsored by Elsevier, three sponsored by BMAS

  • One prize for best oral presentation (€600) – Sponsored by Elsevier

  • One prize for best poster presentation (€600) – Sponsored by Elsevier

  • One prize for the best abstract (€800) – Sponsored by Elsevier
