Ceilidh
Thursday 10th September – after dinner
After dinner, guests are warmly invited to continue the celebrations by enjoying a traditional Scottish ceilidh (pronounced
“KAY-lee”) — a lively and sociable evening of music and dancing that is designed for everyone, whether you have danced before or not. Our ceilidh will feature a live band, an experienced caller to explain the dances step by step, plus a cash bar for additional refreshments, making it a fun and memorable way to experience Scottish culture; tickets are included with in-person registration.
Guests who would like to dress for the occasion may wish to explore kilt hire in Edinburgh from Kinloch Anderson, Geoffrey Tailor, MacGregor and MacDuff, or 8 Yards. However, Scottish dress is by no means required (although we do recommend comfortable shoes, even if you have to bring a spare pair!).
